Article 1
Contracts for accommodation and related agreements to be entered into between this Lodge and the Guest shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions. Any matters not provided for herein shall be governed by laws and regulations or generally established customs.
Article 2
A person who intends to apply for an Accommodation Contract with this Lodge shall notify the Lodge of the following particulars:
Name(s) of the Guest(s)
Date(s) of accommodation
Preferred room type and number of guests
Mobile phone number (or landline number if you do not have a mobile phone)
Article 3
An Accommodation Contract shall be formed when the Lodge accepts the application described in the preceding Article. However, this shall not apply when the Lodge refuses the application pursuant to the provisions of the following Article.
Article 4
The Lodge may refuse to conclude or may cancel an Accommodation Contract in any of the following cases:
When the application for accommodation does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
When no room is available due to full occupancy.
When the person intending to stay is deemed likely to conduct themselves in a manner that violates laws and regulations, public order, or good morals.
When the person intending to stay is clearly recognized as an infectious disease patient.
When the Lodge is requested to bear a burden exceeding a reasonable scope regarding the accommodation.
When the Lodge is unable to provide accommodation due to natural disasters, facility breakdown, or other unavoidable reasons.
When the Guest fails to comply with the prohibited matters specified in the Lodge’s Rules of Use.
Article 5
The Guest may cancel the Accommodation Contract by making a request to the Lodge.
In the event that the Guest cancels the Accommodation Contract in whole or in part due to reasons attributable to the Guest, the Lodge shall collect a penalty (cancellation fee) as specified in Article 16.
If the Guest does not arrive by 10:00 PM on the day of accommodation (or 3 hours after the expected time of arrival if previously specified) without contacting the Lodge, the Accommodation Contract may be deemed to have been canceled by the Guest and processed accordingly.
Article 6
The Guest shall register the following particulars at the front desk of the Lodge on the day of accommodation:
Name and address of the Guest(s)
For foreign nationals, nationality and passport number in addition to the above
Other particulars deemed necessary by the Lodge
Article 7
As a general rule, the hours during which the Guest may use the guest room shall be from 3:00 PM to the following morning. However, in the case of consecutive stays, the Guest may use the room all day, except on the arrival and departure dates.
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Lodge may permit the use of the room outside the hours specified in said paragraph. In such cases, the following additional charges shall apply:
Up to 12:00 PM: 30% of the room charge
Up to 1:00 PM: 50% of the room charge
After 3:00 PM: 100% of the room charge
Article 8
The operating hours of the Lodge are as follows:
Front Desk Service Hours: 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Food & Beverage Service Hours:
Breakfast: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Dinner: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Phone Reservation Hours: 7:30 AM – 10:00 PM
The hours specified in the preceding paragraph may be temporarily changed in case of emergency or unavoidable circumstances.
Article 9
The breakdown of accommodation charges to be paid by the Guest shall be as specified on the Lodge’s official website.
The accommodation charges mentioned above shall be paid in Japanese currency at the front desk upon the Guest’s departure or when requested by the Lodge.
Article 10
The Lodge shall compensate the Guest for any damage caused in the performance or non-performance of the Accommodation Contract and related agreements. However, this shall not apply if the damage is not attributable to reasons within the responsibility of the Lodge.
The Lodge is covered by Innkeeper’s Liability Insurance with NIPPONKOA Insurance Co., Ltd. in order to deal with emergency situations.
Article 11
If the Lodge suffers damage due to the willful misconduct or negligence of the Guest, the Guest shall compensate the Lodge for such damage. However, this shall not apply if the damage is not attributable to reasons within the responsibility of the Guest.
Article 12
When the Lodge is unable to provide the contracted room(s) to the Guest, it shall, with the consent of the Guest, arrange other accommodation facilities under conditions as similar as possible.
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if the Lodge is unable to arrange other accommodation facilities, it shall pay the Guest a compensation fee equivalent to the cancellation penalty, and such compensation fee shall be applied to the amount of damages. However, if the inability to provide the room is not due to reasons attributable to the Lodge, no compensation fee shall be paid.
Article 13
If loss, breakage, or other damage occurs to items, cash, or valuables deposited by the Guest at the front desk, the Lodge shall compensate for such damage, except in cases of force majeure. However, for cash and valuables, if the Lodge requested a declaration of the type and value thereof and the Guest failed to do so, the Lodge shall not compensate for such damage.
If loss, breakage, or other damage occurs to items, cash, or valuables brought into the Lodge by the Guest that were not deposited at the front desk due to intention or negligence on the part of the Lodge, the Lodge shall compensate for such damage. However, for items for which the type and value were not declared in advance by the Guest, the Lodge shall not compensate for such damage unless there is willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Lodge.
The Lodge is covered by Innkeeper’s Liability Insurance with NIPPONKOA Insurance Co., Ltd.
Article 14
If a Guest’s luggage arrives at the Lodge prior to their stay, the Lodge shall take responsibility for storing it carefully only if agreed upon in advance, and shall hand it to the Guest at check-in.
If luggage or personal belongings are left behind at the Lodge after the Guest checks out, and the owner is identified, the Lodge shall contact the owner and request instructions. However, if there are no instructions from the owner, or if the owner cannot be identified, the Lodge shall hold the item(s) for 7 days including the date of discovery, and thereafter deliver them to the nearest police station if deemed necessary.
The Lodge’s liability regarding the custody of the Guest’s luggage or personal belongings in the cases of the preceding two paragraphs shall be governed by the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article.
Article 15
When the Guest uses the Lodge’s dedicated free parking lot, the Lodge is merely leasing the space and does not assume responsibility for vehicle management, regardless of whether the vehicle keys have been deposited with the Lodge. However, if damage is caused through intention or negligence on the part of the Lodge during the management of the parking lot, the Lodge shall be liable for compensation.
Article 16
Except in cases where public transportation stops operating due to typhoons, natural disasters, or other reasons not attributable to the Guest, rendering arrival at the Lodge impossible, cancellation fees will be charged as a percentage of the basic accommodation fee as shown in the table below.
Payment of cancellation fees shall be made in cash directly or by bank transfer to the Lodge’s designated account below:

Any bank transfer fees incurred in the preceding paragraph shall be borne by the Guest.
During peak reservation periods such as Golden Week and the New Year holiday, a reservation deposit may be required.

Article 17
The Lodge may refuse to conclude an Accommodation Contract in any of the following cases:
When the person seeking accommodation is deemed to fall under any of the following (a) to (c):
An organized crime group (Boryokudan) as defined in Article 2, Item 2 of the Act on Prevention of Unreasonable Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act No. 77 of 1991), a member thereof (Boryokudan-in) as defined in Article 2, Item 6, an associate member, or an affiliated person, or other anti-social forces.
A corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by an organized crime group or its members.
A corporation whose officers include any person who falls under an organized crime group member.
When falling under the provisions of Article 13 of the Aomori Prefecture Organized Crime Exclusion Ordinance.
Article 18
The Lodge may cancel the Accommodation Contract in any of the following cases:
When the Guest is deemed to fall under any of the following (a) to (c):
An organized crime group, an organized crime group member, an associate member, an affiliated person, or other anti-social forces.
A corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by an organized crime group or its members.
A corporation whose officers include any person who falls under an organized crime group member.
When falling under the provisions of Article 13 of the Aomori Prefecture Organized Crime Exclusion Ordinance.
